In August, 5 students from Kirkleatham Hall School represented the North of England at the Special Olympics National Games. They performed brilliantly in their respective sports and came away with a haul of medals, Mica (3 bronze), Cian and Stuart (silver for 1st team), Ben and Luke (gold for 2nd team). All the students were a credit to our school and we are very proud of their achievements.

Teesdale Way 100 mile sponsored walk

One of our parents and a family friend have decided to do a sponsored walk to raise money for our school. The Teesdale Walk will begin in Dufton and finish in Redcar and will cover a distance of a 100 miles - so this is such an amazing challenge. The walk will commence on Monday 21 August and will take place over six days finishing on Saturday 26 August.

On Sunday 27 August carers and friends are invited to visit the Kings Head public house in Guisborough at 3.30pm to welcome them back. There will be a raffle taking place at the Kings Head to raise further money for our schoo if you would like to donate towards the raffle please send your donation into school. The raffle tickets will be on sale in school and details of the prizes are available in reception. There will also be a tambola, bingo and karaoke held on the day. Sponsorship is also welcomed by both of them and if you would like to collect sponsorship on their behalf please find a sponsor form also at school

Thank you again for your continued support.
