My name is Kim Quine and I have been a parent governor at Kirkleatham Hall School since February 2019.
I have four children; Taylor who is 20, Harrison aged 19, Anya who is 10 and Kian aged 5.
I was born in Middlesbrough in 1974 and I have lived in North Yorkshire all my life apart from a couple of years in the late 1990s where I lived and worked in London.
I attended Bydales School in Marske from 1985-1990 and after this went on to study floristry at college, and from that I ran my own business for two years.
From 1995-1999 I worked in retail management where I was responsible for my team, from interviewing to staff training.
I moved back to the North East as I was expecting my first child and after the birth of my second child I spent time involved in the running of a local playgroup.
When my children were of school age I returned to retail for a couple of years. I married my husband Greg in 2007 and subsequently took an active role in the running of his photography business, which allowed me to be at home with my younger children.
I am very passionate about Kirkleatham Hall School and all it stands for. I take great pride in my role as a parent governor.
