Epilepsy Awareness Day - 26th March

Dear Parents and Carers

Purple day is the international day for epilepsy and falls on the 26 March each year. On this day, people across the globe come together to raise awareness of the condition and make a difference to the lives of people affected by epilepsy.  The event was created in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Canada, who has epilepsy and wanted to find a way to get people talking about the condition. As well as raising awareness, another focus of the day is to assure those with epilepsy that they are not alone.

So, we need your help to mark this day, to raise awareness of the condition and encourage everyone at our school (pupils and staff) to dress up in something purple on Tuesday 26th March.

Please note that we do not require any donation to take part in this day.

Thank you for your continued support.
