Bethany and Imogen were presented with their  swimming certificates by Olympic swimmer Chris Cook.

Chris’s swimming specialism is the breaststroke. He won the Gold medal in the 50 and 100 metre finals representing England at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia.

He has also competed for Great Britain in the 100m breaststroke event at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and once again in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China .

To gain the Water Skills 5 Certificate Bethany had to work very hard and swim 25 metres (which is just over two lengths of the pool) using the front crawl, then another 25 metres back crawl.
