Ultramarathon Completed
We are delighted to inform you that Paul Gribbon completed the 55 mile Hardmoors run on Saturday despite the really challenging weather conditions.
It has been reported in the local media that a number of runners were unable to finish due to the deteriorating weather however we are delighted to confirm that Paul completed the race safely.
Paul undertook the race to raise sponsorship for residential holidays for our students. He said his knowledge and experience, of how valuable such experiences are for our learners, kept him going throughout the gruelling challenge.
I think it is fair to describe Paul as a “hero” for showing such grit and determination to “go the extra mile” (or 55!) to ensure that sufficient funds are raised to continue to provide our students with a range of fabulous residential opportunities.
