• World Book Day

  On Thursday 3rd March, it is World Book Day. As a school we are going to explore different authors and have lots of fun creating new resources and decorations for our school reading areas. The children will have lots of opportunities to use their imaginations and find out more about their favourite books and characters. To help the children get into the spirit of the day, we would like to give the children the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book character or bring in something from their favourite book.

  Due to Health and Safety restrictions the children cannot travel to school in their costumes. Please can the children bring their costumes into school and staff will help them change on arrival.

• Pie and Peas Night – Saturday 19th March

  There has been a change in venue for the Pie and Peas night on Saturday 19th March.  The new venue is Guisborough Football Club, Howlbeck Road, Guisborough.

   

  We still have tickets available for the night which cost £6.  Please contact school if you would like to purchase one or more on Tel: 01642 483009.

• Sponsored Swim

  huge WELL DONE! to all who took part in our sponsored swim.  We hoped to achieve our 2400 metre target, but actually managed to swim a total of 3600 metres which is the equivalent of 30 football pitches.

  Thank you to all who sponsored our pupils for this event.  Please could all sponsorship money be sent into school by Friday 26th February.

• Coffee Morning

  We are holding a coffee morning on Thursday 11 February in our Acorns Café, Oakwood building from 10.30 until 11.30.

  

• Pie and Pea Supper

  We are really grateful to announce that one of our parents has arranged a pie and pea night to try and raise funds for our school. The date for this evening is Saturday 19th March and the venue is the Cons Club in Guisborough, doors will open at 7pm. There will be a karaoke and disco, along with the appearance of a stand up medium. Tickets for this event are £6 but this does include pie and peas and a raffle ticket.

  In order to support this fantastic event we would like to ask if parents could possibly send in any raffle prizes.

   

  Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in attending then could you contact the school for a form on 01642 483009
