    School Building Development

The work on the school building continues, and as we return in January the front of school has been fenced in for the work to start on the hall, reception area and the offices areas.  The main school entrance will now be through the nursery entrance into school.  We will support our pupils in and out of school with these new arrangements.  We have also lost the parking bays and paving area in front of school while this work take place.  For those parents / carers who drop off and pick their child up, please wait with your child outside the FE building (Oakwood Building) so as not to be waiting in the area near the new entrance, where vehicles could be moving around.  Staff will come to you to take your child into school at the beginning of the day, and bring them to you at the end of the day.  We will keep these arrangements under review.  Thank you.

    Covid-19 Update

School will return on Tuesday 4th January 2022.  With the significant rise in the Omicron variant of the virus, where you are testing your child we ask that you continue to do this (at least twice weekly).  Prior to returning to school on Tuesday 4th January we are asking that you test your child the day before.  Where you have given consent we will also test your child on the first day back in school.  If your child tests positive on a lateral flow test, you will need to get a PCR test for them.  They should isolate until the test result is known.  Also, if your child shows any of the main Covid-19 symptoms at any time, you need to get them a PCR test, and they should be isolating until the PCR test result is known.  If the PCR test is positive then you will need to follow the government guidance and continue to isolate your child.  We will keep you updated if guidance from the government changes.  Thank you for your continued support.
