Thank you for your continued support.Dear Parents/Carers
As I am sure you are aware, Kirkleatham Hall School turned 60 this month and the school has been taking part in events to mark this occasion.
On Friday 27th September we are planning a special day of parties, face painting music and dancing. We are inviting the children and staff to dress up on this day and while the theme is “Through the Decades”, we would welcome all kinds of fancy dress.
We hope you will help us in celebrating this day and we look forward to seeing the children in their costumes.
Yours sincerely
Karen Robson
Head TeacherDear Parents and Carers,
This year our wonderful school celebrates its 60th birthday. It has become popular to mark special birthday occasions with bucket lists or new challenges. We are hoping to join this trend and fill this year with as many challenges as possible. We hope to be able to offer something for all throughout the year.
Challenges often teach us something about ourselves, they give us a great sense of achievement and pride but most importantly they can bring people together.
Well done to Debbie Zipfell and Emma Robinson for kick starting this year of challenges by completing the Great North Run at the weekend.
This Saturday Paul and I are running a 60 mile race, the Hardmoors 60, running from Guisborough to Filey. This might just be a true tale of the hare and the tortoise. Paul McLean being a proven fantastically fast Marathon runner and I a developing ultra runner, too stubborn not to chase him all the way!
If you would like to watch this epic encounter unfold please track us on Saturday starting from 8am and feel free to come along and support us! Tracker link and course route below.
